Learn How to Make Your Own Lobster Roll

In this 2-hour hands-on class, you’ll join local, renowned chef, Arianna Stefanilo, at The Maker’s Galley, as she educates you on the history and current state of the Maine Lobster Industry. You’ll enjoy a truly authentic experience as Stefanilo grew up on Chebeague Island in Casco Bay and spent many years lobstering and fishing off the Maine coast. Her love of the sea has left a lasting impact on her culinary point of view.

Chef Arianna will show you how to breakdown a cooked Maine lobster to get to the most tender meat for your Lobster Roll. She’ll show you which parts are the best to eat and which to discard. She’ll share techniques and tools to make the job go smoothly. Step by step, you will learn all the tricks on how to make the freshest Maine lobster roll. You’ll make your own aioli with your own flare, of course, and serve yourself on a locally made, toasted roll slathered in Maine-made butter. Homemade herb potato salad and traditional coleslaw will be served family style.

By the end of the class your bellies will be full and you’ll agree that Maine has one of the most delicious sandwiches that you can now make at home!
